I’m working with a global manufacturer of industrial automation and robotic packaging systems. They’re growing steadily and want to add an Installation & Commissioning Engineer to their permanent team.
About the company They design and build automated production lines: robotic palletising, bagging, filling and end-of-line packaging. Their customers run large manufacturing plants all over the world. The European business is growing fast, and they want engineers who will stay, learn their systems and grow with them.
What you’ll be doing
Installing and starting up automated lines at customer sites, mainly across Europe
Testing and fine-tuning machines so they hit performance targets
Making on-site PLC programming changes as needed (Siemens TIA Portal)
Finding and fixing electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults
Training customer operators and maintenance teams on their new equipment
Handing each project over cleanly to the after-sales service team
What they’re looking for
An electrical, mechatronic or mechanical engineering background (degree or equivalent)
Hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems
Siemens PLC knowledge (TIA Portal V18 ideally). Experience with other PLC platforms is also welcome
Fluent English and
German (essential) . Dutch or French is a bonus
Happy to travel a lot (around 80%)
A full driving licence and ready access to the southern Netherlands
New to commissioning? You’ll get full training if you have the technical base
