experienced people leader with a passion for technology and engineering ?
Lead a team of 20 + engineers responsible for designing electrical installations for high-end yachts and offshore projects. You’ll shape team development, ensure the right expertise is available for projects, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering department.
What will you do? Lead, coach and develop a team of engineers across multiple locations. Manage team capacity, skills, and resource planning. Conduct performance reviews and support employee development. Handle first-line HR responsibilities, including employee matters and absence management. Work closely with project managers and other engineering leaders. Improve engineering processes, standards, and ways of working.
What do you bring? An HBO-level degree or equivalent. Several years of experience as a Team Leader or Engineering Manager
in the Netherlands . Proven people management experience in a technical environment. Familiarity with Dutch HR legislation and procedures, including sickness absence management and the Wet verbetering poortwachter. Experience conducting performance reviews, managing employee development. Strong communication, coaching, and decision‑making skills. A structured, entrepreneurial mindset and affinity with technology. Willingness to travel between locations in the Netherlands.
