What You Would Be Doing
Identifying new emerging technologies and cataloguing the existing ones.
Producing the deliverables that develop the technology advantage enabler.
Analysing how it supports each named line of development.
Updating the vision documents so there is one shared understanding of it.
Preparing the first draft of the action plan.
Supporting the definition of initial and full operating capability.
Building the community of interest and the stakeholder engagement around it.
Reporting to the project manager and sponsor on progress against the action plan.
What you would bring
A bachelor degree from a recognised university in computer science, information and communication technology, engineering or a related discipline.
At least two years acquiring, assembling and interpreting research and technology information.
Knowledge of national science and technology sources.
Experience judging how future technology applies in a military environment.
The ability to work analytically on technology documentation and build practical adoption examples.
Comfortable with office tooling and open-source research.
Fluent professional English.
This is a long engagement that renews year on year, not a short project.
