- What you will be doing
As a Foam Technician, you will work with foam and plastic materials used to protect fragile high-tech components.
You will assemble different parts into finished protection solutions, following technical drawings and clear work instructions.
Accuracy is important in this role, so you will measure dimensions, check tolerances and inspect the finishing of the products to make sure everything meets the required specifications.
If you notice a deviation or something that could be improved, you will report it to the right colleagues.
Your day-to-day work will include
- Assembling foam and plastic components according to technical drawings and work instructions.
- Measuring dimensions and checking tolerances.
- Inspecting the quality and finishing of completed products.
- Identifying and reporting deviations or possible improvements.
- Handling and processing different foam and plastic materials.
- Working together with colleagues from production and logistics.
- Keeping your workplace clean, organised and safe.
You will work Monday to Friday in a 2-shift schedule
Weekend overtime is also possible and is paid at an increased rate when applicable.
