Why this business? Join an established international manufacturer and distributor of industrial wire and tying solutions. Its Horst operation brings production and supply-chain activity together, giving you direct involvement in keeping materials, machines and customer orders moving.
What you’ll be doing Support plant planning for approximately 50% of your time, translating customer orders into manufacturing requirements, machine schedules, production hours and labour needs. Coordinate with HR and maintenance to support resource availability and machine readiness, reviewing production reports and helping organise the flow through to shipping. Support purchasing activities and related administration to keep production requirements on track. Monitor inventory continuously, maintain accurate records and flag discrepancies or potential shortages.
Experience needed Relevant purchasing, supply-chain or operational administration experience is desirable, particularly practical involvement with orders, stock or production support. Strong organisation and attention to detail when managing records and competing priorities. Initiative to follow up outstanding actions, resolve queries and communicate clearly across teams. Willingness to learn production planning. Previous planning experience is helpful, but this knowledge can be developed internally.
