As part of the frontline monitoring team, you will identify and investigate security alerts, raise incidents and help ensure threats are handled accurately.What you’ll doMonitor alerts and events from multiple security sources, including SIEM toolsIdentify, categorise and prioritise correlated security alertsAnalyse logs and network traffic to detect potential security issuesCreate and manage cases for confirmed incidentsRecommend initial response activities and escalate complex incidentsMaintain accurate investigation notes throughout the incident lifecycleReview recurring tickets and identify opportunities to reduce false positivesStay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilitiesContribute to security reporting, documentation, awareness and best practices.What you bringUniversity Degree or Master in a related fieldKnowledge of networking and cybersecurity fundamentalsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Microsoft 365It would be an advantage if you also have experience with Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Jira, network operations, service or help desk environments, or hold a certification such as CompTIA Security+ or SC-200.Winning as a Team: Our people know that by leveraging one another’s strengths, investing in and developing our team’s capability and by collaborating well, we will win.
