VectorMachines develops autonomous mowing robot systems for solar parks. With our innovative technology—lidar, GPS, and vision (sensorfusion)—we help solar parks maintain their facilities efficientlyand sustainably.
The Challenge Ourrobots operate reliably and autonomously in solar parks throughoutEurope. Currently, we physically validate routes on-site for each newinstallation. This is a process that works well and gives customersconfidence in the quality of our solution.
Toscale even more efficiently, we want to take the next step: enablingusers to independently validate and adjust routes, with the robot asan intelligent validation instrument. Think of: the robot drives tocorner points, the user confirms via an intuitive interface whetherthis is correct, and the system automatically adjusts wherenecessary. This accelerates our deployment, increases flexibility forcustomers, and makes us more scalable without compromising quality.
Additionally,we're building fleet management functionality for software updatesand version control, so we can efficiently maintain and improve agrowing number of robots in the field.
Your Role You'llbecome a crucial link in the further development of our intelligentrobot control system. You'll build the software that bridges advancedautonomous robots and the operators who deploy them daily. This meansyou'll work on:
Intuitiveuser interfaces that enable operators without technical backgroundsto manage complex robot operations
Real-timemonitoring systems that provide insight into the performance andstatus of our fleet
Intelligentvalidation tools that work together with the robots to automaticallyverify route quality
Scalableupdate infrastructure for reliable software deployment acrossmultiple robots
Diagnosticsystems that enable operators to solve problems independently
You'llwork in a multidisciplinary team of robotics engineers, embeddeddevelopers, and backend specialists. Together, you'll ensure seamlessintegration between user interfaces, cloud infrastructure, and theautonomous systems operating in the field.
WhatYou'll Build You'll have the freedom to make an impact across varioustechnical areas:
FrontendApplications :Modern, user-friendly interfaces for route and fleet management
IntelligentValidation Logic :Systems that automatically analyze routes and collaborate withrobots to guarantee accuracy
FleetManagement Platform :Real-time dashboards and monitoring tools for operational overview
SoftwareLifecycle Management :
Versioncontrol and deployment pipelines for robot software
Over-The-Airupdate mechanisms with rollback capabilities
Batchoperations for efficient fleet management
BackendArchitecture :Robust APIs, cloud integrations, and data processing pipelines
OperatorExperience :Tools and workflows that make complex technology accessible
TheChallenge? You'll build software that must continue working in dynamicconditions: remote locations, variable connectivity, and users whoprimarily expect "it should just work." Reliability andscalability are essential.
You'llalso get the opportunity to contribute end-to-end: from idea anddesign to implementation and field use, with direct feedback frompractice.
What You Bring Must-haves
UX/UIdesign thinking :You understand how to make complex systems accessible tonon-technical users
Backenddevelopment :Experience with C#/.NET or willing to learn
