VCD Recycling is a specialist in processing zinc-containing waste streams. They do this with a hydrometallurgical process. We are looking for operators for this process. Purpose of the function Is responsible for the operation, adjustment and maintenance of the chemical process installation. The Operator works in a chemical process installation. As an Operator, you are responsible for the correct settings and operation of the installation in order to ultimately produce raw materials (including zinc derivatives) that meet the quality requirements. The daily activities also include minor maintenance of the installation. The operator is also expected to supervise this production process as good as possible. Order, neatness and safety (machines, workplace, etc.) are among the responsibilities of the Operator. The Operator reports system errors in a timely manner and resolves these issues (if possible) in collaboration with the manager. Tasks and responsibilities: Operates safely and responsibly and, if necessary, adjusts equipment and controls of the production process; Performs quality controls on process and/or product; Performs (light) maintenance on production machines; Optimizes process flow and/or product; Maintains an overview of the production process; Keeps the production location and the installation clean; Has an eye for a safe working environment for themselves and his colleagues; Job requirements: MBO working and thinking level (VAPRO B or C) or equivalent; Quality-oriented, result-oriented and solution-oriented; Analytical, learning ability, hands-on and creative.
