Interim Operations Manager in Amsterdam

In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth execution of all operational processes. You will contribute strategically to process improvements, operational optimization, and organizational growth. You will ensure structure, clarity, an efficient flow of goods, and quality-oriented execution. You serve as the connecting link between the office staff, drivers, production, and management. You identify opportunities for improvement and implement process optimizations You monitor quality, safety, and compliance with procedures You make decisions regarding operational bottlenecks and personnel issues You handle escalations and complex customer inquiries You coordinate order processing and ensure effective internal alignment You report to management on progress and performance You provide indirect leadership to office staff and drivers You actively participate in operations where necessary What you bring

Higher Professional Education (HBO) working and thinking level Experience in an operational leadership role Affinity for logistics and planning Strong organizational and planning skills The ability to oversee various processes and disciplines Strong communication skills and the ability to switch between operational execution and management level A hands-on mentality Decisiveness and the ability to make firm decisions A people-oriented leadership style, capable of motivating and coaching employees Proficiency in Dutch, English, and German Who you are
