Junior Software Developer
who wants to build useful software and gradually take on product ownership. A little about them
Their team brings together software developers, scientists and clinicians to make complex patient data easier to understand and use. They work with hospitals and researchers to support more personalised cancer care. What you'll do
Build and improve analytics tools used by researchers and clinicians. Turn users' ideas and feedback into clear development tasks. Help decide which features to prioritise and plan upcoming releases. Work closely with infrastructure engineers, bioinformaticians and data scientists. Grow your coding and product skills, with support along the way. What they're looking for
An MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics or a related field. Some practical
software development
experience, ideally with
Java and/or Kotlin . Curiosity about users' needs and an
interest in product ownership . Someone who enjoys solving problems, sharing ideas and learning from others. Fluent English. Dutch and experience with genomics or clinical data are bonuses. The details
32-40 hours a week , based in Amsterdam. A
one-year contract , with the intention to offer a permanent role afterwards. A small team where you can contribute ideas and see your work being used.
