Would you like to work on a completely new high-tech software platform instead of maintaining legacy code?
For a growing development team in the Eindhoven region, we are looking for several C++ Software Engineers to help build a next-generation imaging application from the ground up.
We have opportunities for different levels of seniority, ranging from experienced Software Engineer to Senior Software Designer.
Your role
You will work in a greenfield software environment where you can influence not only the code, but also the design and technical direction of the platform.
Your work will include
- Developing software in modern C++ (C++17 or newer)
- Building new software components from scratch
- Working with CMake and Git
- Translating requirements into robust software solutions
- Contributing to software design and architecture
- Performing code reviews
- Testing and integrating software components
- Improving software quality, maintainability and reliability
- Working closely with other software engineers and technical specialists
Depending on your level of experience, you can also take ownership of larger modules or subsystems and provide technical guidance to other engineers.
What are we looking for?
You have
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar technical field
- Around 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C++
- Experience with CMake
- Experience with Git
- A solid understanding of software design and object-oriented development
- Good command of English
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus
- Image processing or imaging software
- Software architecture and design patterns
- High-tech or complex technical products
- Medical or regulated environments
- CI/CD and automated testing
- AI-assisted development tools
- Code reviews or technical mentoring
What can you expect?
- €5,300 – €6,350 gross per month, depending on experience
