As a Senior Dev Ops Automation Engineer (Python & Azure), you will

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab CI/CD and Azure Dev Ops.
• Develop automation solutions across application and infrastructure domains using Python, shell scripting, and API integrations.
• Design, optimize, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable CI/CD pipelines using YAML.
• Automate build, testing, deployment, and release management processes to improve delivery speed and operational efficiency.
• Design and implement Dev Ops architecture, standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Prepare, present, and maintain High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) while providing technical recommendations and influencing architectural decisions.
• Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning, cloud operations, and Dev Ops workflows.
• Design and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) frameworks, including modules, environments, and state management.
• Provision and manage cloud environments across Development, Test, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production.
• Architect, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Storage, Networking, and Identity.
• Implement pipeline integrations for code quality checks, security scanning, compliance validation, and automated testing.
• Apply Dev Sec Ops practices by integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Implement secure access management using Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Managed Identities, and Azure Key Vault.
• Design and maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident response solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, infrastructure, pipeline, and production issues to ensure platform reliability and availability.
• Optimize cloud performance, implement disaster recovery strategies, and manage cloud costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, security, product teams, and end users to align automation solutions with business requirements.
• Estimate development effort based on product backlog items and collaborate with end users during acceptance testing.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Dev Ops engineers and promote engineering best practices across teams.
• Work effectively in an Agile environment, manage changing priorities, and handle multiple tasks when required.

What You Bring to the Table

• 8–10 years of overall professional experience in Dev Ops engineering, infrastructure automation, Python development, or related technical domains.
• At least 7 years of hands-on Python programming experience, as explicitly specified in the job description.
• Strong experience in infrastructure automation and developing automated solutions across application and infrastructure domains.
• Hands-on experience designing and maintaining Dev Ops pipelines using Git Lab CI/CD and Azure Dev Ops.
• Strong knowledge of YAML-based pipeline configuration and CI/CD automation.
• Practical experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Strong skills in shell scripting, API integrations, and Linux troubleshooting.
