As a warehouse splitter in Hoofddorp, you are responsible for sorting, labeling, and registering incoming shipments. Your working day starts at 09:30 by checking the incoming freight and reviewing the cargo lists. During the day, you drive the forklift to move pallets, break down shipments into individual parcels, and attach the correct shipping labels. At 18:00, you finish your counts and administration, ensuring the warehouse floor is neat and ready for dispatch. In this role, you work via Staffice on-site at our client.
Responsibilities
- Moving pallets and cargo safely using a forklift
- Splitting incoming bulk shipments into individual parcels
- Labeling packages and pallets with correct shipping details
- Counting parcels accurately and logging quantities
- Performing basic calculations to verify shipment numbers
- Checking goods for visible damage or packaging issues
- Keeping the working areas clean and clear of obstacles
Requirements
- A valid forklift certificate
- Basic math and counting skills
- Good command of the English language
- Availability from Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 18:00
- Physical ability to handle warehouse tasks
