As a Freight Network Specialist, you play a key operational role in managing ground freight routes at Rozenburg (Schipholrijk). You collaborate with logistics partners to retrieve cargo, generate essential transport documentation, and keep status records up to date. Through proactive delay management and contingency planning, you keep ground transportation running smoothly day and night.
Responsibilities
Register scheduled and ad hoc truck journeys in system software.
Organize freight pick-ups at CFS facilities and third-party sites.
Prepare load manifests and bills of lading for network transfers.
Track shipment updates and maintain event coding accuracy.
Receive and inspect inbound freight shipments upon arrival.
Spot capacity bottlenecks and arrange alternative trucking routes.
Log delay reasons and carry out root cause evaluations.
Ensure regional branches have required partner equipment in place.
Review service provider performance and update internal CRM logs.
Requirements
MBO 3/4 work and thinking background.
Good proficiency in English.
Motivation, commitment, and genuine interest in airfreight logistics.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts (07:00-15:30, 13:30-22:00, 22:00-06:00) and weekends.
Eligibility for a VGB screening, which requires at least 8 years of residency in the European Union.

Gross salary range between 2700 and 3300 euro per month based on experience.
Shift surcharges: 20 percent after 18:00 and 40 percent after midnight.
