About the Role An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Data Analyst - Finance to support data quality, financial reporting, and process improvement within a global finance operations environment.
The position focuses on developing reliable data pipelines, improving financial data integrity, automating reporting, and delivering actionable insights across Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
Working closely with Finance, Data Governance, Technology, and Continuous Improvement teams, this role will help optimise month-end close activities, strengthen data management practices, and identify opportunities for AI-driven automation.
Key Responsibilities Analyse financial data flows between ERP systems and connected finance applications.
Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines supporting financial operations and reporting.
Improve data accuracy, consistency, and transparency across Record-to-Report processes.
Support the optimisation of month-end close activities through improved analytics and automation.
Collaborate with Data Governance and Master Data Management teams to establish data quality standards and documentation.
Build automated dashboards, reporting frameworks, and KPI tracking solutions.
Develop and maintain financial performance metrics, including KPIs and OKRs.
Identify process inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.
Evaluate opportunities for AI, process mining, and workflow automation.
Translate complex financial requirements into technical specifications and analytical solutions.
Partner with Finance, Technology, and Analytics teams on cross-functional improvement initiatives.
Mentor colleagues and promote best practices in analytics, data governance, and reporting.
Support data literacy initiatives and training across finance teams.
Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in data analytics, data transformation, and reporting within complex finance or e-commerce environments.
Strong understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and Record-to-Report (R2R) operations.
Advanced SQL skills , including experience querying and transforming complex datasets.
Experience using Google BigQuery and spreadsheet-based analytical tools.
Experience with Workday Finance or a comparable ERP system .
Familiarity with financial consolidation platforms such as OneStream.
Experience developing automated reporting solutions, dashboards, and data validation controls.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and financial information management.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical and analytical solutions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across Finance and Technology.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
Additional Skills & Experience Experience with month-end close optimisation and financial process automation.
Knowledge of AI applications, process mining, or automation within finance operations.
Experience establishing governed datasets, data dictionaries, and financial reporting frameworks.
Previous experience mentoring analysts or supporting data literacy initiatives.
