From our highly automated European Distribution Center (EDC) in Den Hoorn/Delft, we distribute products throughout the EMEA region.
We are currently looking for a
Warehouse Supervisor
for 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will ensure that the warehouse operates effectively and efficiently. He or she will also ensure that routines are followed and agreed objectives are achieved.
To be successful in this role, close collaboration with the Warehouse Manager, Team Leaders, and administrative staff is essential. You will join a team of supervisors from other departments.
Tasks:
Supervising warehouse activities.
Managing a team of warehouse employees.
Establishing, modifying, and maintaining logistics processes.
Monitoring inventory levels.
Ensuring the daily workload is processed on time.
Resource and capacity planning.
Establishing, modifying, and maintaining work procedures and instructions related to warehouse activities.
Implementing improvements related to warehouse operations.
Supporting Quality / EHS certification activities related to warehouse operations.
Your Profile
MBO+ level of education and thinking ability (vocational higher secondary level or equivalent).
Experience in a logistics role.
Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in logistics.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Ability to work with large volumes of data and extract the most relevant information.
Strong analytical skills.
Experience with Excel.
Strong attention to detail.
Assertive, honest, and trustworthy.
Knowledge of Sandvik IT systems and Sandvik business processes is an advantage.
Able to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
