Our framework is rapidly growing in adoption and plays a central role in the daily workflows of a global community of developers and data practitioners.## What you’ll do* Push the performance limits of a modern query engine* Experiment with optimization techniques, from low-level bit manipulation to larger architectural design shifts* Translate theoretical performance improvements into working implementations used in real-world systems* Work in a small, highly technical team with direct feedback from an active user community## What we’re looking for* Solid fundamentals in **systems programming** (Rust or another low-level language)* Hands-on experience with **profiling** and **performance tuning*** A passion for writing efficient, production-ready code* Ability to take ownership and thrive in a collaborative, fast-moving environment## Location preferenceWe have a strong preference for candidates who can work **on-site in Amsterdam**.
