AI Engineer Vehicle Development in Eindhoven

As an AI Engineer Vehicle Development, you accelerate the adoption and practical application of artificial intelligence within Product Development at DAF Trucks. You identify, prioritize, and deploy AI solutions that boost engineering productivity, resolve complex technical issues, and enhance product quality.

In this role, you work at the Quality & Reliability Vehicle Development department. You collaborate closely with Engineering, Testing, Validation, and Program Management to transform operational challenges into smart, AI-driven workflows and automations.

Your core responsibilities:

Design, build, and deploy custom AI solutions and automated workflows using PACCAR AI Studio and modern platforms.

Bridge the gap between AI technology and business teams by translating daily engineering needs into functional AI tools.

Establish and maintain a prioritized pipeline of AI use cases and innovation ideas together with key stakeholders.

Coach, train, and guide colleagues to raise internal AI capabilities and foster confident, widespread AI adoption.

Govern AI initiatives in line with PACCAR standards, ensuring data security, transparency, and measurable business value.

Job Requirements

You are successful when you have:

A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or IT.

Proven experience working with AI technologies and platforms such as Snowflake, SharePoint, AWS, Open WebUI, Copilot Studio, or GitHub Copilot.

Hands-on experience developing AI solutions, agents, workflows, and prompt engineering within a product development environment.

Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
