About the Role

Develop detailed electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring schedules, and panel layouts for international industrial and commercial projects. Specify and select electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, motors, drives, and control systems, adhering to global standards. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and site engineers located across different time zones. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design reports, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and construction support documents. Ensure all designs comply with relevant international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, BS). Provide remote technical assistance and guidance to project sites during construction and commissioning phases. Participate actively in design reviews, risk assessments, and quality control processes. Stay abreast of new technologies and design methodologies to propose innovative solutions. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical design engineering, with significant exposure to international projects. Proficiency in using industry-standard electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN). Solid understanding of power systems analysis, distribution design, motor control, and industrial automation. Familiarity with international electrical codes and standards is crucial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration. Proven ability to manage workload independently, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality deliverables in a remote setting. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
