Business Analyst – Compliance & IT 28-40 hours in Doetinchem

Are you the link between Compliance and IT, turning risks into opportunities?

When you think of compliance, you might think of legal codes, checking rules and administrative processes.

But imagine this: a country introduces new electronic invoicing requirements. As a result, international companies must submit their data in a different way. Systems need to be adapted, data flows change, and complex legal requirements must be translated into logic that software understands.

How do you approach this intelligently? What data do you need? How do you avoid reinventing the wheel for every country? And how do you design a solution that will still work if the rules change again tomorrow? These are the puzzles you will work on at Pincvision.

That is why we are looking for a Business Analyst who enjoys getting to grips with complex challenges and developing smart IT solutions together with others.

We do not expect you to know all the rules surrounding eInvoicing, VAT or international reporting obligations. We have subject matter specialists for that. You bring something else to the table: the ability to structure complex information, ask the right questions and translate it into processes, data and IT.

What exactly will you do? You will work at the intersection of business, data and technology. A new legal requirement often starts with a whole host of questions. What exactly is required? What information do we already have? What is missing? Which systems are affected? And how can we solve this in a way that works for more than just one situation? You will help answer these questions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Analysing new international obligations and translating them into concrete IT challenges together with our specialists.

Mapping processes, data flows, systems and interfaces, and investigating where improvements can be made.

Defining business rules, requirements, use cases and acceptance criteria that developers can work with.

Exploring suitable solutions together with developers and our IT architect.

Investigating how technologies such as rule engines, data mapping and AI agents can make our work smarter.

You will mainly work with internal colleagues and suppliers. Occasionally, you will join a client meeting to gain a better understanding of what is needed.

We value curiosity about new technology, a willingness to experiment and the ability to critically assess where it can genuinely add value.

The team We work with seven colleagues in the Netherlands, as well as two developers on-site. You will report to Edwin Kampshoff, the CIO. We are a close-knit team where you get to know the people you work with well, communicate directly with our IT architect, Business Analyst and developers, and see what happens with your ideas.

You will have the freedom to work independently and take responsibility. At the same time, you can rely on colleagues who understand the technology and the compliance domain.

Who would be a good fit for us? You will probably recognise yourself in the following:

You want to understand how something really works before coming up with a solution.

You can communicate effectively with both subject matter specialists and technical colleagues.

You understand how processes, data, business rules and systems are interconnected.

You have experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Solution Analyst or in a similar role. Are you currently working in a technical role and finding that what really excites you is analysing challenges and developing solutions? We would also love to hear from you.

Experience with software development projects is an advantage. The same applies to Agile/Scrum, data mapping, business rule modelling and compliance.

You have a good command of English. Speaking Dutch is an advantage.

What do we offer in return? We believe that interesting work deserves to be well rewarded.

A gross monthly salary of €4,150 to €6,700, based on a 40-hour working week and depending on your knowledge and experience, excluding the Personal Choice Budget (PKB).

A one-year contract for 32–40 hours per week. Would you prefer to work 28 hours? This is negotiable.

Hybrid working, with your team agreeing on when to work together in Doetinchem and when to work from home.

Training opportunities to support your further development.

A travel expense scheme and a lease bike scheme with an employer contribution.

And just as importantly: colleagues you can exchange ideas with, short communication lines, and room for humour and a friendly atmosphere.

Shall we get to know each other? We start with an introductory phone call with HR. After that, you will meet Edwin and HR. Next, you will meet our Business Analyst and/or IT architect.
