Linee College is a school for Further Special Education for Very Difficult Learners. We provide education for young people aged 12 to 18, focusing on living, working and leisure time. We aim for students to go on to work in the day care service, at a company or institution when they leave the school. With Guided Discovery Learning, students discover their talents. We offer both general education and vocational training and adapt to the individual abilities, talents, and motivations of each student. With ‘Les op locatie’, students get practical experience in various locations in Den Helder. This includes repairing furniture, concierge work, green and cleaning tasks, filling up shopping bags at the supermarket, caring for animals at the petting zoo, and much more. The Liniecollege is part of the Stichting Samenwerkingsschool foundation. The Samenwerkingsschool Foundation provides education in the Kop van Noord-Holland region and on Texel for pupils between the ages of 4 and 20 who experience certain limitations in their learning and development process that mainstream education cannot address. In collaboration with external care and education partners, education is organised based on the special educational needs of the pupils.

Job requirements Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a colleague with a strong personality who preferably has an affinity and experience with our target group.

Has an affinity for pupils with a developmental delay;

Willing and able to work as part of a team.;

Education that is appropriate for the students' level;

Customisation can be provided in its teaching methods;

A safe pedagogical climate can offer;

Has a flexible attitude;

The progress and development of pupils can be discussed with the pupil's mentor and can be recorded on a tracking form.;

Identifies problems with pupils and addresses them with the mentor or support coordinator;

Works with our competencies and period registration;
