Monitor database availability, performance, replication and capacity. Resolve incidents and fulfil database service requests. Install, configure, patch and upgrade PostgreSQL environments. Perform backup, restoration and point-in-time recovery. Configure and maintain replication and high-availability capabilities. Analyse query performance and optimise database configurations. Manage database access, roles, encryption and auditing. Support migrations from other database technologies. Automate operational health checks, maintenance and reporting. Support resilience and disaster-recovery testing. At L4, provide expert support for complex database failures or performance issues. At L5, define PostgreSQL architecture, operating standards and modernization roadmaps. Technical knowledge
