I'm currently recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager to join a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing site in the Amsterdam area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced project professional to lead a range of engineering and CapEx projects , supporting site growth and operational excellence within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead equipment, facilities, and utilities projects from concept through to handover
Develop project plans and manage multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle
Conduct feasibility studies and support capital investment decisions
Oversee construction, engineering, and technical activities on-site
Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder expectations
Drive continuous improvement and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within scope
Present project updates and recommendations to cross-functional and leadership teams
What We're Looking For
BSc or MSc in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline
5+ years of project management experience within Pharma, Biotech, Medical Devices, Chemical, Food, or Semiconductor industries
Proven experience delivering engineering and CapEx projects
Knowledge of cGMP environments and validation activities (FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ)
Familiarity with GAMP and ASTM E2500 principles
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification is advantageous
