This is what you will do Are you a technical all-rounder ready for your next step in industrial maintenance? As a Senior Technical Service Mechanic, you are essential to keeping all our production machinery and process installations running at optimal efficiency. Your main duties include conducting preventive maintenance, diagnosing faults, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment, including conveyors, automated sorting systems, and high-capacity washing machines.
A typical day starts with a technical briefing where you’ll review the maintenance schedule, analyze machine downtime reports, and assign priority tasks. You’ll use tools like PLC diagnostics, multimeters, and hydraulic testers to inspect and service equipment. Throughout the day, you collaborate with operators, report technical findings, document repairs in the maintenance management system (MMS), and help implement continuous improvement initiatives. At shift end, you ensure all maintenance logs are updated and prepare handover notes for the next team. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with a strong focus on reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) and teamwork.
This is your chance to put your technical skills into practice in a dynamic industrial setting. You’ll join a supportive technical department that values your expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Language skills at B1 level (CEFR) are needed for this role – you should be comfortable with technical communication in English or Dutch.
This is what we expect from you
MBO diploma in a technical field (such as mechatronics, electrotechnology, or industrial automation), or relevant experience as a maintenance technician in a production environment
2 to 5 years of hands‑on experience with industrial equipment, such as conveyors, pumps, and PLC‑controlled machinery
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis
Familiarity with technical documentation, maintenance management systems (MMS), and safety protocols (such as Lockout/Tagout)
Good command of English or Dutch (minimum B1 level – you should be able to communicate confidently on technical topics)
