The role
Nebius is looking for an execution-focused Project Manager to join the Cyber Security PMO, reporting directly to the Head of PMO under the CISO. You will own the delivery of complex, cross-domain security initiatives from initiation through to full deployment working closely with global stakeholders across Security, IT, Engineering, Product, Legal, and Privacy to ensure alignment, accountability, and consistent execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

Project Management

Lead cross-domain security initiatives through the full project lifecycle from project charter andscopedefinition through planning, execution, monitoring, and formal closure.

Develop andmaintaincomprehensive project management artifacts including project plans, work breakdown structures, RAID logs, decision registers, and lessons learned documentation.

Decompose complex security programs into clearly defined phases, milestones, deliverables, and interdependencies ensuring each workstream has a named owner and accountable timeline.

Manage all project tracking, scheduling, and portfolio visibility in Jira,maintainingboard hygiene,accuratestatus, and executive-ready reportingat all times.

Communication & Reporting

Produce consistent,accurate, and concise project status reports for the Head of PMO, CISO, and senior leadership surfacing progress, risks, decisions, and next steps with clarity.

Maintaina regularreporting cadence across all active projects, ensuring stakeholders are informed, aligned, and equipped to maketimelydecisions.

Adapt communication style, depth, and format to the audience from technical engineering teams to executive leadership and global cross-functional partners.

Document and distribute meeting outcomes, action items, and decision logs ina timelyand structured manner.

Focal Point for All Project Stakeholders

Serve as the primary point of contact and accountability for all project stakeholders across Security, IT, Engineering, Product, Legal, Privacy, and Finance.

Manage global stakeholders across multiple geographies and timezonesmaintainingalignment, managing expectations, and ensuring no party isoutof syncwith project status or direction.

Facilitate structured project governance including kick-off meetings, steering committees, cross-team syncs, and retrospectives.

Build and sustain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to C-suite executives.

End-to-End Project Execution

Drive project execution from initiation to deployment andclosuremaintainingaccountability for scope, schedule, quality, and delivery outcomes at every stage.

Coordinate execution across multiple teams simultaneously, ensuring dependencies areidentifiedearly, handoffs are clear, and momentum is sustained throughout theprojectlifecycle.

Proactivelymonitordelivery progress against baseline plans, forecast deviations before they materialize, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.

Ensure all project phases are formallyinitiatedand closed with documented approvals, acceptance criteria, and sign-off from relevant stakeholders.

Problem Solving & Risk Management

Identify, assess, and actively manage project risks, issues, and blockersmaintaininga structured RAID log and driving mitigation actions to resolution.

Anticipate cross-team dependencies and organizational friction points ahead of time; broker solutions before they escalatet into delivery-impacting issues.

Apply structured problem-solving approaches to unblock teams, resolve ambiguity, andmaintaindelivery velocity under pressure.

Escalate critical risks and decisions to the Head of PMO with full context, impact analysis, and a clear recommended course of action.

We expect you to have:

3–5 years of hands-on project management experience with a strong and demonstrable deliverytrack recordin complex, cross-functional environments.

Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, deployment, and formal project closure.

Deepproficiencyin Jira as the primary project management tool: task and epic management, board configuration, dashboards, reporting, and portfolio tracking.

Strong project decomposition skills ability to break down ambiguousobjectivesinto structured, executable workstreams with clear ownership and milestones.

Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery across multiple teams and senior stakeholders simultaneously.

Strong proactive mindsetanticipatesrisks and blockers, takes initiative, and drives resolution without waiting to be directed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence engaging global stakeholders across cultures and time zones.

Demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise executive-level reporting and stakeholder communications.

Strong technological orientationableto understand systems, architectures, and technical workflows at a sufficient level to manage delivery effectively.

It will be an added bonus if you have:

Experience working within a Cyber Security organization, CISO function, SOC, or GRC environmenta significantadvantage.

Familiarity with security domains such as vulnerability management, identity and access management, endpoint security, or compliance.

Knowledge of security frameworks or compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, or SOX.

Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery frameworks.

Experience working with globally distributed teams in a high-growth technology or cloud infrastructure company.

PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.

BSc in Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, ora related field.
