Heavy Civil Equipment Operators - Project-Based - 14/7 or 20/10 - Camp or Hotel - NL Morgan is seeking Heavy Civil Equipment Operators to join their team for project-based roles across Newfoundland and Labrador. Operators will work on a variety of heavy civil construction projects, including mining, road building, and reclamation. The ideal candidates are experienced with graders, excavators, and dozers, and thrive in remote, outdoor environments with rotational schedules.

What You’ll Need
Minimum 3 years of recent experience operating graders, excavators, or dozers in heavy civil, construction, road building, or mining
Valid safety training tickets (Surface Common Core, CSO/BSO/CSTS-09/OSSA Regional, Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance)
Valid driver’s license
CSA approved safety boots (minimum 6“ high & fully laceable)
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and pass a comprehensive fitness-to-work assessment
Successful clearance of alcohol and drug screening
Willingness to work rotational schedules, day or night shifts, and in all weather conditions
What Will Make You Stand Out
Experience with hard rock mining environments
Experience in above ground/surface mining
Experience with stripping overburden, stacking, stockpiling, and reclamation
Experience working on all types of ground conditions, including soft ground
Proven experience with ice road construction
Experience with technical specifications and grade plans, building roads, oilfield leases and pads
Ability to finish or trim
