Join our client's team and play a key role in delivering some of the world's most exclusive superyachts. As a Project Lead - Mechanical Engineering, you will lead multidisciplinary engineering projects from concept through production, coordinating technical teams and engineering disciplines to ensure high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet planning, quality, and technical standards throughout the entire yacht building process. Your responsibilities include:
Lead mechanical engineering projects throughout the complete yacht building process. Coordinate the engineering of propulsion, engine room, piping, and hotel systems. Manage the mechanical engineering team and coordinate multidisciplinary activities. Ensure timely delivery of engineering documentation and production drawings. Coordinate with Production, Procurement, suppliers, and classification societies. Monitor project planning, budget, quality, and engineering progress. Support the project from detailed design through construction and final handover. Job requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering Experience within yacht building is mandatory. Proven experience leading engineering projects in the maritime or yacht building industry. Experience with CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX), or Siemens NX is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, engineering processes, and production methods. Strong command of English, both spoken and written. Proactive, organized, quality-driven, and capable of working in multidisciplinary teams. Conditions
