Functional Application Specialist – Cadmatic Hull in Flushing

Referencenumber vacancies-4080-C, Vlissingen, Nederland Structural In this role, you act as the bridge between Engineering and IT, translating engineering requirements into functional application solutions. You will support Cadmatic Hull users, configure project environments, manage engineering data and libraries, and contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD/PLM processes throughout the product lifecycle. Translate engineering needs into functional specifications for application development Set up and configure project environments within Cadmatic Hull Manage Cadmatic Hull catalogues, libraries, specifications and project data Provide functional support to Cadmatic Hull and PLM/CAD users Analyse application issues with stakeholders and develop suitable solutions Manage interfaces between Cadmatic Hull and other applications Maintain user access rights within the application Develop and implement application processes and functionalities Coordinate with software suppliers and knowledge partners Organise user training and prepare Cadmatic documentation, manuals and training materials Bachelor’s degree or proven competence in Engineering, preferably Shipbuilding Strong proficiency with the Cadmatic platform, particularly Cadmatic Hull Knowledge of PLM principles and experience with functional application management is preferred Good command of English; Dutch is an advantage Ability to work at both Vlissingen and Schiedam locations Excellent antecedents, as a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment procedure Attractive salary, based on your knowledge and experience Application for the 30% ruling (expat tax advantage), when applicable 27 days of paid holidays + 13 extra paid ADV days and paid national holidays Compensation for commuting costs depending on your preferred means of transportation – own car / public transport / bike Possibility to work from home up to two days per week Working from home allowance Relocation support (incl. allowance, housing search, registration) and an onboarding at our office for a warm & thorough welcome Budget for a Dutch language course so that you have a good kickstart Join the
