Our client is an international logistics service provider operating a large-scale, highly automated distribution centre in the Netherlands. To support continued growth, they are looking for a Team Lead Operations who can drive operational excellence while developing and motivating warehouse teams.You will join a highly automated fulfilment operation serving a leading European e-commerce platform. The site operates in a fast-paced logistics environment where technology, people, and processes come together to deliver exceptional service levels.
The operation runs in a multi-shift schedule, requiring flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, nights, and occasional weekends.
Functie
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate operational employees
- Manage daily warehouse operations and ensure KPI targets are met
- Make operational decisions to optimize workflow and productivity
- Monitor staffing, resources, and equipment efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Analyze operational performance and prepare reports
- Conduct performance reviews and support absence management
- Ensure compliance with safety and housekeeping standards
Profiel
Profile
- Proven experience leading teams within logistics, warehousing, production, or another operational environment
- Strong people management and coaching skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead position
- Results-driven, proactive, and capable of working under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset
- Full-time availability and flexibility regarding shift work
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
