Functie
- Maintain accurate property accounting records and financial reporting.
- Manage service charge reconciliations for several property portfolios in European countries.
- Support and execute the month-end close process.
- Develop and improve process documentation and training materials for service charge and accounting procedures.
- Collaborate with a team of property accountants and support workload coverage during a sickness absence.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and standardization within the accounting function.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and report directly to the Property Accounting Supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, controls, and reporting deadlines.
Profiel
A successful Property Accountant should have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Property Accounting or a similar accounting role.
- Experience with service charge reconciliation (servicekosten).
- Solid understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Process-oriented mindset with the ability to document workflows and create training materials.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
