- We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Mobile Engineer (Android) to design, develop, and maintain mobile applications and APIs that deliver a seamless and engaging experience for our users.
In this role, you will work on high-performance applications for Android, analyze business and user requirements, and deliver innovative solutions using the latest technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications and supporting APIs.
- Analyze third-party and client requirements to create useful and innovative mobile solutions.
- Develop high-performance, scalable, and secure mobile applications tailored for Android platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.
- Experiment with and implement cutting-edge tools and techniques to enhance mobile solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend engineers, and product managers, to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from system design to detailed programming and testing.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability through rigorous testing and code reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Android application development.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java is a plus).
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, UI frameworks, and design patterns (MVVM/MVI).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, networking, and backend integration.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for mobile applications.
- Familiarity with modern libraries and frameworks (e. g., Jetpack components, Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt).
- Understanding of performance tuning and optimization for mobile devices.
- Passion for clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Nice to Have
- Experience with multi-platform development or i OS knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development tools (Jira, Git, etc.).
- Contributions to open-source projects or a personal app portfolio.
