Your exact tasks as logistical worker at UPS depend on which department you will be joining. For example you could be working at Inbound, Outbound, Orderpicking or Warehouse operations. Receiving, checking, and processing incoming goods Picking and preparing orders for shipment Scanning and registering products using a handheld scanner Sorting, packing, and repacking goods Loading and unloading trucks Performing inventory management and logistical administrative tasks In the UPS warehouse, you will work with a wide range of products, including medical supplies, high‑tech goods, and consumer items. It is important that you work according to the safety and quality guidelines. Depending on the department, you will work in a standard warehouse environment or a temperature‑controlled area.
