As a Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuity, security and scalability of the LoQit platform.
About LoQit LoQit develops and delivers smart locker solutions for educational institutions, offices, healthcare organisations, industrial environments, leisure facilities, airports and other sectors. Our solutions combine electronic locking systems, cloud software, integrations and user-friendly applications in a single platform for smart access and locker management.
From our office in Heerenveen, we work on international projects and deliver solutions across the Netherlands, Europe, the United States and Australia. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer to join our team.
What will you do? As a Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the continuity, security and scalability of the LoQit platform. You will work closely with our developers, product management team and management, acting as the technical link between development, operations and security.
You will help ensure that our customers can rely on a secure, stable platform that is ready to support future growth.
Responsibilities Cloud platform (Microsoft Azure)
Manage, optimise and further develop the Microsoft Azure environment
Design and oversee the cloud architecture
Manage performance and capacity
Ensure availability, reliability and scalability
Set up and maintain backup, disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
Optimise costs and manage resources within Azure
Security & compliance
Implement and manage security measures
Follow up on penetration tests, security audits and vulnerabilities
Support and further develop ISO 27001 processes
Manage security monitoring, incident response and risk management
Manage identity and access within Microsoft Entra ID
Support compliance requirements such as NIS2 and SOC 2
SaaS & platform architecture
Further develop our multi-tenant SaaS architecture
Support single-tenant enterprise environments
Monitor scalability and technical quality
Define and maintain technical standards
Advise on future platform choices and architectural development
DevOps & operations
Manage and optimise CI/CD processes
Manage releases and deployment strategies
Manage monitoring, logging and observability
Maintain technical documentation and ensure knowledge is retained within the organisation
Reduce operational risks and dependencies
Integrations & enterprise environments
