WAT GA JE DOEN? As a Warehouse Employee, you will work in a modern warehouse where large quantities of goods are stored, processed and shipped every day. The distribution centre supplies products to customers in the food industry, retail and hospitality sectors. Together with your colleagues, you make sure that all logistics operations run efficiently.
Your working day is varied. You will be involved in internal transport, goods handling, loading and unloading trucks. You will use different types of equipment and make sure that all goods are handled correctly.
Your responsibilities include:
Moving goods using an electric pallet truck (EPT), forklift or reach truck.
Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
Checking and processing incoming and outgoing goods.
Moving and storing products in the correct locations within the warehouse.
Working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Keeping your workplace safe, clean and organised.
You will work in a fixed 2 shift system:
Morning shift: 06:00 to 15:00.
Afternoon shift: 15:00 to 00:00.
WAT BRENG JIJ MEE? Previous experience as a Warehouse Employee, Logistics Employee or Warehouse Operative is an advantage.
An EPT or forklift certificate is a plus. Don’t have one yet? There may be opportunities to obtain one.
You are physically fit and enjoy an active job.
Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an advantage.
You live in the Meppel area and have your own transport.
You speak English fluently and have a good command of the language. This is important to ensure clear communication and maintain safety in the warehouse. You are also motivated to learn Dutch.
WAT HAAL JIJ ERUIT?
A gross hourly wage of €15,99 to €19.01, depending on your experience.
An additional 8.75% shift allowance on all hours worked.
Overtime compensation.
Travel allowance from 10 kilometres, with additional tax exchange options.
Pension scheme through StiPP.
8% holiday allowance and 25 days of annual leave.
A long term position with the opportunity to receive a permanent contract.
