As an IT System Engineer at KICK-ICT, you are the technical face of our organization. You ensure that our clients' IT environments – both on-premise and in the cloud – are stable, secure, and future-proof. You work for SME clients where IT is business-critical and where your expertise makes a direct impact. You are responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing IT infrastructures. You do this both on-site at the client's location and remotely from our service desk. You switch effortlessly between operational management and tactical advice and know how to make complex IT issues understandable for clients. What are you going to do? Management and maintenance of on-premise IT environments (including servers, networks, and workstations) Implementation and management of modern workplaces and Windows Server environments (including Windows Server 2024) Management and optimization of cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. Setting up and managing Microsoft Intune and endpoint management. Security of IT environments with firewalls, antivirus, EDR/XDR solutions (such as Acronis), among others Proactively monitoring and identifying risks, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement Supporting users and resolving complex incidents (2nd/3rd line) Advising clients and management teams (MT) on IT strategy, security, and continuity Contribute ideas regarding the standardization and further development of our managed services What do you bring Demonstrable experience as a System Engineer or similar role within IT services Strong knowledge of both on-premise infrastructure and cloud solutions Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, and hybrid environments Knowledge of networks, firewalls, and IT security (e.g., SonicWall, Sophos, Acronis) Experience with workplace management and endpoint security. Strong analytical skills and solution-oriented. Good communication skills: you interact easily with end users, the board, and the management team.
