Overview
In this role you will own backlog areas in a high-traffic retail media SaaS suite for all Ahold Delhaize brands in Europe. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features that scale for multiple retailers, focusing on code quality, automated tests, and end-to-end reliability. You’ll shape the product by proposing ideas and connecting broader platform work with brand-level outcomes. This is a mission-driven opportunity to help modernize food shopping through data and technology.

Belangrijkste vereisten
- 8+ years of Backend Engineering experience
- Proficient in Kotlin/Java (17+)
- Experience with Microservices Architecture and Spring Framework
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, Postgres, and APIs (big plus)
- Agile software development experience
- Strong CI/CD understanding in a cloud environment (MS Azure/AKS)
- Commitment to team, ability to challenge status quo
- Invoice fluent English communication; located in the Netherlands
