Overview
In this role you design, model and validate precision mechanical actuators intended for mass production. You will collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, guide model makers and test engineers, and support suppliers and customers throughout development and verification activities. You will contribute to concept research and CAE analyses, focusing on manufacturability and quality. This role offers hands-on impact in a global manufacturing environment with opportunities to influence product design and production readiness.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design and model precision mechanical actuators within budget and schedule
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and leverage competitor engineering for molding and assembly
- Guide model makers and Test Engineers on projects
- Create product models and documentation
- Oversee verification and validation processes
- Provide technical support to customers
- Support concept development and co-development with suppliers under SDE/SCM guidance
- Perform CAE simulations, calculations and analyses
Belangrijkste vereisten
- BSc/MSc Mechanical Engineering (Fine Mechanics, Industrial or Mechatronic Design)
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo)
- Material knowledge (plastics and metals)
- Knowledge of mass production techniques, DFA, DFM, tolerance stacks, FMEA, ISO GPS drawings
- Knowledge of automotive standards and automotive quality systems
- Basic knowledge of electronics (advantage)
