Overview
In this role you will own the service portfolio strategy and lifecycle for the FDV unit, guiding decisions with data-driven insights. You’ll align market needs with installed-base opportunities, drive launches of service products, and translate customer feedback into portfolio improvements. You’ll collaborate across after-sales, sales, R&D, and marketing to enable growth and profitability. This is a hands-on role shaping offerings at a global packaging technology leader.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Analyze installed base data to identify trends, opportunities and gaps for portfolio decisions and campaigns
- Facilitate the service strategy process to align market needs with business goals and roadmaps
- Own the service portfolio from concept to launch to retirement, including business cases and lifecycle planning
- Lead development and launch of new service products, solutions and campaigns with sales, service and marketing
- Gather and translate customer feedback into portfolio improvements and development priorities
- Define and prioritize service-related R&D needs and feed into the R&D roadmap
- Monitor market developments and competitor activities to inform portfolio management
- Collaborate with after-sales, sales, technical support, field service, R&D and marketing on priorities and execution
- Collaborate with marketing on events, campaigns and value messaging to boost visibility and sales effectiveness
- Track portfolio performance (adoption, profitability, customer impact) and optimize offerings using data-driven insights
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years in product management, service portfolio management, aftermarket management, or related commercial/technical role in industrial equipment or packaging machinery
- Strong understanding of service business models, installed base management, and lifecycle management
- Experience translating customer needs and market insights into successful products or services
- Strong analytical skills using installed base and market data to drive decisions and growth
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration in service, sales, R&D, and marketing
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives and stakeholders in an international environment
- Strong English communication and presentation skills; German a plus
- Willingness to travel for customer visits, market analysis and internal collaboration
