Overview
In this role you bridge Business and IT to optimize engineering processes via the Cadmatic Hull CAD platform across the product lifecycle. You will translate needs into functional specs, implement processes, and maintain interfaces and data structures to drive project efficiency. You work closely with stakeholders, suppliers, and engineering teams to deliver tangible improvements. This position offers impact on naval vessel design and a path to deepen CAD/PLM expertise within a global shipbuilding group.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Translate engineering needs into functional specifications for application development
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze issues and design solutions
- Develop and implement application processes and functionalities
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and knowledge partners
- Manage interfaces between applications and Cadmatic Hull
- Manage user access rights and project environment setup within Cadmatic Hull
- Organize and coordinate training related to applications with the Manager Engineering Support
- Provide functional support to PLM/CAD users of Cadmatic Hull
- Prepare training materials, tips, documentation, and user manuals
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor degree or proven competence in engineering (preferably Shipbuilding)
- Proficiency with Cadmatic platform
- Knowledge of PLM principles and functional application management (preferred)
- Excellent English; Dutch advantageous
- Ability to work in Vlissingen and Schiedam, Netherlands
- Permanent EU citizenship and security screening as part of recruitment
- Note: military nature restricts non-EU nationality eligibility
