Overview
In this role you drive new business growth within GEODIS’ Marketing and Business Plan, serving both existing and prospective customers. You’ll work across the transport and logistics landscape to identify opportunities, foster internal and external relationships, and translate strategy into practical actions. You’ll engage with stakeholders at all levels to secure deals and create value. This is a chance to shape expansion in a global logistics network and contribute to GEODIS’s market leadership.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Realize and develop new business activities for existing and new customers within the Marketing and Business Plan
- Maintain and expand customer relationships across levels of the organization
- Identify market opportunities in domestic and international transport and logistics sectors
- Translate policy and strategy into actionable business initiatives
- Lead negotiations to generate customer interest and close deals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align offerings with market needs
- Monitor competitive landscape and adapt tactics accordingly
Belangrijkste vereisten
- HBO / university education (logistics)
- Extensive knowledge of the transport sector and national/international market dynamics
- Insight into competitive relationships in domestic and foreign markets
- Strong social skills for high-level internal and external contacts
- Analytical ability and vision to translate policy into practical actions
- Negotiation skills to attract and secure customers
- Fluency in Dutch and English
- 5–10 years of experience in a similar role
