Overview
As a Security risk expert - AI & emerging technology, you assess security risks for AI and related tech, translate findings into actionable recommendations, and support risk-based decision making. You collaborate with cross-functional teams across security, IT, privacy, and compliance to ensure security-by-design in AI initiatives. The role focuses on identifying threats, evaluating controls, and guiding stakeholders through remediation and risk treatment. You will drive methodologies and share expertise to strengthen ASML's security posture in emerging technologies.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Execute security risk assessments for AI and emerging technologies, identifying threats, control gaps, and risk scenarios with evidence-based recommendations
- Analyze proposed technologies and architectures, including threat modelling and attack-path analysis, to evaluate security controls
- Assess AI-specific risks (model compromise, prompt injection, data leakage, supply chain, agentic behaviour, access control weaknesses)
- Support security-by-design reviews across the technology lifecycle and advise on secure design principles
- Validate security controls implementation and review remediation and compensating measures
- Support risk treatment, exception management, and risk acceptance discussions with technical input
- Contribute to improving assessment methodologies, standards, and reporting; mentor peers and escalate material risks to the Security Risk Manager
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 3-7 years of professional experience in security, IT auditing, or ISMS with an AI specialization
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., cybersecurity, IT management, data science & AI)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CRISC
- Experience defining and running AI security baselines and assessments
- Strong knowledge of IT, data and information risk/security frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISF, IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-30, NIS2, ISO 27001/27002)
- Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
- Stakeholder management and relationship building
- Ability to navigate organizational challenges and interact across all levels
