Overview
In this Team Lead Receiving role, you lead a team of about 20 FTE in the LO Inbound stream to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of materials for internal customers. You’ll drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement while coordinating daily activities and resources. You work closely with cross-functional teams to align with SLA targets and LO’s mission of efficient, reliable material flow. This is an engaging chance to shape end-to-end logistics performance in a global manufacturing environment.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Ensure a safe working environment and promote independent safety mindset within Receiving
- Lead and develop a team of ~20 FTE, optimize staffing and costs
- Manage daily performance: monitor execution, solve issues, prevent recurrence
- Define, measure and report SLA/performance to internal customers and staff
- Ensure timely and accurate put-away and registration of materials
- Drive continuous improvement projects for processes, products and people
- Coordinate planning and prioritization according to SLAs; identify bottlenecks
- Foster collaboration with Manufacturing Services, LO departments, and service providers
Belangrijkste vereisten
- MBO+ / HBO level in logistics discipline or industrial/business engineering
- Minimum 3 years in a leading or coordinating logistics position
- Experience in warehousing and distribution processes; preferred knowledge of SAP (EWM & ECC)
- Strong people management, interpersonal, and coaching skills
- Service-oriented mindset with excellent stakeholder management
- End-to-end process thinking and understanding of the bigger picture
- Willingness to follow training and courses; certificate requirements (VGB, Known Consignor) as stated
