Overview
As Manager tax accounting & compliance you ensure accurate and compliant direct tax reporting and tax accounting for ASML. You will work across Tax, Finance and Statutory Reporting to transform complex tax requirements into robust processes with strong controls. You’ll drive improvements in tax processes, data quality, and reporting, while advising stakeholders and supporting the team’s development. This role offers visibility into global tax operations and the chance to influence our financial reporting quality and integrity.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Coordinate and review tax disclosures for external financial reporting (IFRS, Form 20-F) ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Review and assess Dutch and EMEA tax positions for local GAAP and statutory reporting alignment
- Ensure high-quality execution of corporate income tax compliance (including Pillar II) and support interactions with authorities and auditors
- Deliver tax-related reporting, forecasting, and insights to support management decisions
- Maintain and enhance a strong tax control framework including SOX-related controls and compliance requirements
- Partner with Finance, Statutory Reporting, and Tax teams to strengthen legal entity governance and reporting quality
- Translate tax policies and technical guidance into efficient operational processes, controls, and reporting solutions
Belangrijkste vereisten
- +10 years of relevant experience in tax/accounting in a financial control or auditing/tax compliance environment
- Master's degree in accounting, tax economics, finance, or related field
- Strong experience in tax accounting, direct tax reporting, and tax compliance in a complex international environment
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS tax accounting (ASC 740, IAS 12)
- Experience with internal controls, governance, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and geographies
