Overview
In this role you will lead complex product-development and lifecycle projects in Elekta’s Brachytherapy unit, blending hands-on leadership with portfolio coordination. You’ll align hardware, software, regulatory, and operations stakeholders to deliver on clear plans, mitigate risks, and ensure compliant execution. You will drive execution rhythm, adapt delivery approaches (SAFe/Agile, hybrid, or stage-gate), and provide transparent reporting to governance bodies. This position offers meaningful impact by advancing cancer care through regulated, high-quality R&D programs.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead multiple projects through initiation to delivery across cross-functional teams
- Create integrated plans with milestones, budgets, and resource assumptions
- Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, changes and delivery commitments
- Establish execution rhythm and ensure decisions and actions are followed through
- Select delivery approaches (SAFe/Agile, hybrid, traditional) to fit projects
- Coordinate across teams and remove cross-functional delivery barriers
- Lead reviews, planning sessions, and steering forums
- Develop credible forecasts, capacity plans, and recovery scenarios
- Provide program-level coordination or Release Train Engineer responsibilities in SAFe environment
- Integrate Design Controls, Risk Management and regulated documentation into project plans
- Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs on regulatory strategies and submissions
- Support audit, design-review and regulatory readiness
- Use lessons learned and root-cause analysis to improve execution
- Provide clear reporting to management and project governance bodies
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Significant experience in project or program management within complex product development
- Track record delivering cross-functional projects involving hardware, software, systems, operations or external partners
- Experience with SAFe/Agile, hybrid and traditional delivery approaches
- Strong planning, forecasting, risk-management and financial-control skills
- Clear communication with technical teams, functional leaders and senior management
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, BigPicture, Planview or similar platforms
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or related field
- Excellent written and verbal English; Dutch is an advantage
- Experience in medical devices or regulated/high-reliability environments; certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe are advantageous
