Overview
As Global HSE / DG Lead you ensure EU and international safety and Dangerous Goods compliance across the distribution network. You translate complex regulations into practical procedures and drive a consistent safety culture. You collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Quality and Regulatory teams to mitigate risk and sustain compliant, future‑proof operations. This role is an independent expert, shaping safety policy and cross‑country standards with a clear impact on operations.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Act as EU OHS and DG regulatory expert across the distribution network
- Secure compliance with REACH, CLP, Seveso III and related directives
- Translate regulatory updates into practical procedures and audits
- Serve as DGSA for ADR, IMDG and IATA; oversee DG classification, labeling and documentation
- Review new DG products for compliance and oversee DG training and inspections
- Lead risk assessments and incident investigations; drive CAPA
- Advise on warehouse safety design and hazardous materials storage
- Develop and maintain dangerous goods management systems
- Provide regulatory guidance to Operations, Logistics, and Quality; support ISO 45001 implementation
- Represent company during regulatory inspections and drive continuous safety improvement
- Deliver safety and DG training to cross‑functional teams
- Support new product introductions with safety insights
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 7+ years in Safety and Dangerous Goods within logistics, warehousing, or distribution
- Bachelor in Health & Safety or related field (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of EU safety, chemical, and transport regulations
- Experience across multiple countries and with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to lead projects and influence without authority
- Experience developing safety policies, procedures, and standards
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Continuous improvement mindset and passion for safer operations
