Overview
In this role you will lead production-grade automation software for product content, built on Google Cloud. You will own the cloud delivery, CI/CD, and operational aspects while partnering with data analysts and scientists to turn business and AI use cases into dependable services. As the first engineer in a new team, you will set foundations, drive cross-team collaboration, and deliver scalable solutions that improve product information. This position offers meaningful impact through automation and AI in a fast-growing, international environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Design, develop, and maintain modular, secure backend services, REST APIs, and integrations with suitable processing patterns
- Own cloud delivery and operability on Google Cloud, including CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, logging, and secrets management
- Productionise data and AI use cases by building service, integration, and workflow layers around models, with validation and fallback and human-in-the-loop where needed
- Establish engineering foundations through standards, practices, and documentation, and collaborate on architecture reviews across teams
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analyst, and data scientist to translate use cases into value-adding solutions
- Own technical decisions independently while seeking alignment from architects and peers
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Senior software engineer with a proven track record of production-ready backend services, APIs, and integrations
- Proficiency in TypeScript (preferred) or Java; Python advantageous for data/AI tasks
- Experience with cloud-native development and deployment on Google Cloud Platform, including containers, IaC, and CI/CD
- Security-aware with IAM, secrets management, monitoring, logging, and traceability
- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with AI-related solutions or ML concepts is a plus
