Overview
As Director – Systems Engineer, you lead a regional team to drive pre-sales success for Fortinet in the Netherlands. You work closely with the sales organization to promote technology, develop staff, and influence the broader sales strategy. You engage with customers, partners, and influencers to secure opportunities and position Fortinet against competitors. This role combines leadership, client engagement, and public advocacy to advance cybersecurity initiatives at scale.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Develop and execute a Netherlands pre-sales strategy and proactively build new and existing customer relationships.
- Lead by example in presenting Fortinet solutions and differentiating against competitors.
- Monitor progress toward individual, team, and organizational goals.
- Plan and implement organizational development to support sales objectives.
- Leverage internal and external influencers (marketing, support, engineering, system integrators, partners) to drive outcomes.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and development for team members.
- Act as a Fortinet technology spokesperson and thought leader.
- Represent the company at public events and conferences.
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Experience in a similar leadership role with proven ability to influence stakeholders and build lasting customer relationships.
- Experience working across the Netherlands; regional familiarity essential.
- Ability to train and manage a team of qualified managers and engineers.
- Experience in cybersecurity is essential.
- Preference for experience in large organizations with cybersecurity teams.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is essential.
