Overview
As a Systems Engineer at Fortinet, you drive pre-sales technical support to help customers understand and deploy security and networking solutions. You will serve as the technical lead on sales calls, qualify opportunities, and assist with post-sales training, leveraging deep networking and security knowledge. This role sits at the intersection of security, networking, and customer enablement within a global team. You’ll contribute to protecting people, devices, and data everywhere and connect with Fortinet’s expanding customer base in the Netherlands.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Qualify sales leads from a technical perspective (pre-sales)
- Act as the main technical resource on sales calls and educate customers on features, specifications, functionality, and integration
- Engage on networking applications and solutions
- Assist identified customers with post-sales training
Belangrijkste vereisten
- 5–8 years experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
- 5–8 years experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
- Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, Anti Virus
- Strong understanding of protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies
- Strong presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Graduate degree preferred
