Overview
In this role, you drive shelf-alignment by translating category, shopper and retailer insights into practical shelf solutions for the Benelux market. You act as the main liaison for Retail, Discount and Away-from-home channels, ensuring the space vision and commercial plans are realized on-shelf. You lead cross-functional projects, optimize planograms and support assortment decisions with data-driven recommendations. This position offers meaningful impact through improving shopper experience and strengthening PepsiCo’s category partnership. You’ll work across teams and with retailers to shape shelf strategy in a dynamic, international setting.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead Benelux space management projects in collaboration with GCC
- Coordinate planning, prioritization and workload across the Space Management team
- Ensure timely delivery of planograms, range reviews and strategic initiatives
- Drive process improvements in space management tools and ways of working
- Act as first point of contact for brand marketing on product dimensions and visual assets
- Advise stakeholders on shelf impact of portfolio, packaging and innovation decisions
- Collaborate with Category Management, Sales, Marketing and DX on growth projects
- Own development/quality of planogram recommendations for priority Benelux customers
- Translate assortment outputs into effective shelf solutions and rankings
- Continuously improve planogram proposals based on retailer feedback and market learnings
- Maintain data accuracy in Nielsen and Spaceman
- Develop and execute a future-focused Space Management Vision for Food in Benelux
- Translate insights into actionable shelf recommendations
- Identify growth opportunities via advanced space and assortment analysis
- Represent marketing innovations, portfolio changes and packaging on shelf
- Provide strategic recommendations on assortment, shelf allocation, facings and merchandising principles
- Engage with retailers on shelf reset projects and range reviews
- Understand retailer shelf planning processes and translate into commercial recommendations
- Present planogram, assortment and category insights to customers and internal stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with top 3 customer Space Management teams
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor in Economics
- 2-5 years of experience in FMCG or retail (Space Management, Category Management or Merchandising)
- Experience working with retailers and translating insights into commercial recommendations
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to convert data into actions
- Experience with Nielsen Discover, GfK and Space Management software (Spaceman or equivalent)
- Understanding of assortment optimization, category management and shelf productivity principles
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong project management abilities and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Influence and stakeholder management across functions and levels
