Overview
In this role you will design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise-scale mainframe applications, leveraging IBM mainframe technologies. You will lead architecture decisions and modernization initiatives within mission-critical environments in BFSI and related sectors. You’ll drive production stability, deliver across large-scale ecosystems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical outcomes with business goals. A strong focus on cloud enablement, API integration, and governance contributes to delivering scalable, secure solutions.
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Lead end-to-end design and architecture of Mainframe solutions
- Define technical roadmaps and modernization strategies for legacy applications
- Provide guidance to development, support, and testing teams
- Perform technical reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise standards
- Design, develop, and maintain complex Mainframe applications
- Lead enhancement and migration initiatives
- Review and optimize existing code for performance and scalability
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through design reviews and code inspections
- Drive incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
- Support critical production environments with high availability requirements
- Lead performance tuning and capacity planning activities
- Ensure compliance with operational SLAs and governance requirements
- Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and delivery teams
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Present architecture and solution recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive cloud enablement and API integration initiatives
- Support legacy transformation programs
- Evaluate modernization tools and technologies
- Define migration strategies for business-critical applications
- Ensure adherence to security, audit, and regulatory standards
- Establish development and operational best practices
- Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories
